
We’ve just had a brief in to design and build two desktop widgets (or RIA’s – Rich Internet Applications if you’re a geek…) for an up-coming new-product launch. We’re truly excited as we’re confident that the day of the widget has arrived, not just for mega-brands, but for most consumer-facing businesses.
Last year, brands as diverse as Mini and The Sun launched fun widgets as part of their marketing campaigns – Mini with their inventive desktop cuckoo clock and The Sun who achieved 10,000 downloads in just 3 days of it’s cheeky Page 3 widget - just 2 intersting highlights!
